Educ’s RDPE panel holds basic research ethics seminar-workshop

The Research Development, Publication, and Ethics Committee (RDPE) of the UP College of Education recently held research basics ethics training for its panel members and select members of the faculty.

The training is part of the efforts aimed at the creation of a Research Ethics Board for the faculty, students, and other stakeholders of the College of Education.

The training was facilitated by the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board (PHREB) through Zoom from 23 to 24 October 2023.

According to RDPE, the training aims to guide the College in complying with the requirements needed for the College’s eventual Research Ethics Board to be accredited by the PHREB.

Aside from the members of the RDPE, a representative from each of the College’s different Areas also participated in the training.
