RECENTLY CONCLUDED: “Laro, Palaro, Palaruan”

Last Tuesday, June 11, 2024, the UP College of Education Early Education Area, UP Preschool Practitioners, and UP College of Education Student Council held the first International Day of Play Celebration entitled “Laro, Palaro, Palaruan” at the Benitez Hall!

Students, faculty, staff, and children participated in the morning-long event, that included palarong pinoy activities like patintero, piko, and chinese garter. To escape the outdoor heat, play resumed indoors in various forms such as sungka, jenga, chess, game of the generals, and many more. To beat the breakfast cravings and the heat, everyone also enjoyed the free taho and sorbetes!

The organizers would like to thank all of the individuals who participated and took part in our first celebration of the International Day of Play! We hope all of you experienced and enjoyed the power of play together!
