FULL-TIME TEACHING POSITION (TENURE TRACK) AT THE
U.P. COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
Position: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Mathematics Education
Division: Curriculum and Instruction
Institution: College of Education
Start of Teaching: August 2016, First Semester AY 2016-2017
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- With undergraduate academic preparation in mathematics education
- Holds a doctorate or at least a master’s degree in Mathematics Education from a reputable university;
- Must have adequate experience in teaching at the basic education and tertiary levels
- Demonstrates research and publication potentials and/or achievement;
- Demonstrates ability to train in-service teachers
- Of good moral character and integrity.
Applicants are asked to submit the following to the Office of the Division of Curriculum and Instruction on or before 29 February 2016:
- Letter of application;
- Curriculum vitae;
- Undergraduate and Graduate Official transcript of records (original and photocopy)
- Awards and recognition received for teaching;
- Proofs of research work and publication;
- Proofs of participation and/or presentation in a conference;
- Letters of recommendation from and contact information of former professors, employers and significant persons who can attest to applicant’s character integrity;
- Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) or equivalent; and
- Teaching portfolio
