FULL-TIME TEACHING POSITION (TENURE TRACK) AT THE
U.P. COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
Position: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Special Education
Division: Curriculum and Instruction
Institution: College of Education
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Holds a Doctor of Philosophy or at least a Master of Arts in Special Education from a reputable institution;
- Has adequate experience in assessment, curriculum and lesson planning, instructional and assessment materials production, and/or teaching of children with special educational needs;
- Has experience in educating and planning and implementing programs for learners with special educational needs in basic and/or tertiary education
- Demonstrates language-communication proficiency;
- Demonstrates research and publication potentials and/or achievement;
- Shows a growing reputation in Special Education; and
- Of good moral character and integrity.

- Letter of application;
- Curriculum vitae;
- Official transcript of records (original and photocopy)
- Awards and recognition received for teaching;
- Proofs of research work and publication;
- Proofs of participation and/or presentation in a conference;
- Letters of recommendation from and contact information of former professors, employers and significant persons who can attest to applicant’s character integrity;
- Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) or equivalent; and
- Teaching portfolio.
