The College offers two four-year bachelor’s degrees: the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), to prepare students for teaching in the elementary school and pre-school; and the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE), to prepare students for teaching in the secondary school.
Minors have been part of the undergraduate degree programs offered by the College of Education since 1954. A minor consists of courses in a particular sub-specialization. The College also offers an 18-unit Minor in Professional Education program that allows non-Education undergraduate students to pursue teaching careers.
