Eduk, Camarines Norte State College ink partnership pact

The College of Education of the University of the Philippines and the Camarines Norte State College signed a memorandum of agreement that paved the way for a closer relationship between the two institutions.

The leaders of the two institutions signed the agreement on November 30, 2023. Dean Jerome T. Buenviaje of the College of Education and Dr. Marlo M. Dela Cruz, president of the Camarines Norte State College, signed the agreement in a simple ceremony at the College.

The agreement resulted from the Eduk Caravan conducted by the College in March 2023. In conducting the caravan, the College aimed to forge partnerships with other institutions to help in faculty professional development, to bring the College closer to universities and colleges in different parts of the Philippines, and to explore other opportunities for the mutual benefit of different parties.

Aside from Dr. Dela Cruz, other officials of the Camarines Norte State College who attended the ceremony were their Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dolores C. Volante, Dean of Graduate School, Dr. Eduardo M. Abad, Dean of their College of Education, Dr. Edgar P. Aban, and Dean of their College of Arts and Letters, Dr. Jocelyn Trinidad.

Dr. Frances Olivia M. Magtoto, college secretary, and Dr. Leonor E. Diaz, the chair of the Division and Curriculum and Instruction, also attended the signing ceremony.
