POSITION: Assistant or Associate Professor of Special Education (full time)
DIVISION: Division of Curriculum and Instruction

QUALIFICATIONS
- with advanced degree in Special Education
- with notable experience in teaching children with special educational needs
- preferrably experienced in teaching in the tertiary level
- possesses very good oral and written communication skills
DUTIES OF HIRED APPLICANTS
Selected applicants are expected to perform the following duties: (1) teach Special Education and other related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels; (2) advise graduate students who are writing their thesis or dissertation; (3) serve as thesis/dissertation critic or panel member; (4) serve as program adviser to SPED students; (5) serve in Division, College, and University committees; (6) attend faculty and University Council meetings regularly; (7) research actively as documented through publications and presentations; (8) render extension (community) service; (9) develop and update syllabi for courses to be taught; and (10) comply with procedures required of government employees.
