As part of UP’s mandate to “Lead as a public service university by providing various forms of community, public, and volunteer service, as well as scholarly and technical assistance to the government, the private sector, and civil society while maintaining its standards of excellence (RA 9500, Sec.3d)”, the UP College of Education offers the following non-degree programs:

| Designed for current teachers, administrators, education workers, and researchers from an education organization/institution to be equipped with the essential skills and knowledge in data science to leverage data-driven insights and strategies in education | GWA requirement of at least 2.25 in their Bachelor’s program |

| Designed for non-Education and/or non-Educational Administration (EDAD) majors holding leadership and administrative positions in their respective institutions, and those who want to engage in the professional practice of educational leadership and policy | No specified General Weighted Average (GWA) cut-off |

| Designed for any Guidance Teacher, Guidance Designate, Guidance Advocate, Career Advocate, or any licensed teacher to develop homeroom guidance programs (HGP), create guidance-related activities, administer non-psychotherapy-based interventions, administer A-level tests, and implement career education activities | GWA requirement of at least 2.25 in their Bachelor’s program |

| Designed for current Science, Mathematics, and STEM Teachers in Basic Education level, and/or professionals with a Bachelor’s degree from any STEM field. The CST aims to equip them with knowledge and skills in content, pedagogy, innovative teaching materials, laboratory techniques, and assessments to teach STEM education subjects at the basic education level | GWA requirement of at least 2.25 in their Bachelor’s program |

These certification programs are a combination of undergraduate and graduate courses. Please note that our mode of learning is BLENDED, meaning classes are held both face to face and online. Some classes though are held purely online and some are purely face to face depending on the course.
Both undergraduate and graduate classes are usually scheduled every weekday. The tuition fee for undergraduate courses is PhP1500 per unit. Graduate courses are PhP500.00 per unit.

Applicants must submit the requirements to the Office of the College Secretary to be considered for the programs. Only applications that are complete can be processed.
